You could say the fishnet style was really in vogue in the mid eighties.

As for the lug windows, They would only really help identify it in conjunction with a few other tell tales. Surprised there is no panto on the fork crown or the seat stays.

It does seem odd, if it is a repaint, that they went to the trouble with that technique, but didn't add decals after.

For me it looks like it's original painting. I don't think that someone would repaint frame with this specific pattern.
