Cunningham Seatposts - Reproduction needs Anyone ?!

I was browsing through your pictures at the German forum the other day and discovered some really nice archives from the early CC days.

Hope to see more of this material in this forum too some day.
 
time for some more pics,
def. CC did so much more than s.posts but none the less it was his first step into the bike business before he became sought after for his frames.

here are 2 examples of what charlie fabed up before the brilliant "fasp" design

(btw these first 2 images show what had been described on previous page here in what Charlie called "handmade" adjustable friction held posts)

then you have 2 variants of what else was put on bikes depending on customers preference,

Happy to add the drawing of these two adjustable CC-SP designs here... its been a while researching these :)

Infact the design got mentioned already in #10 by CC own words. Charlie concludes there then, saying he went ahead with only the fixed angle construcitons due to extensive long term field and fatigue testing:
