Cunningham Seatposts - Reproduction needs Anyone ?!

Hi guys,
A matter is dear to us and anyone looking to find a comfortable ride future-wise will agree.
Charlie was way ahead of everything, yet especially with his seatposts.

Not many builders apart from SP and Moots are offering any layback larger diameter posts which are elegant and functional.
Hence this call to all - if someone finds himself dedicated to fab some of these posts again..

Charles C. obviously made his pretty and light posts as everything else in much variety of details.
Some had setback bend, some not. Other had layback bending plus setback or some just the setback by on-grafted heads from other major companies - preferably Campy, Dura Ace and Suntour for the record timeline ;) !

All that said we hope CC & JP are in best of care with friends and funds these days and they are infact.. with the BikeCommunity as fair familiy.
Yet if we want to ride in their age on some of our older bikes using perhaps even shorter stems going this far back in time to a brilliantly conceived idea of 80s Mtb`s pioneering and development - then such apparent need could resurface.

T.D. in reverence had done some,

so for open source purposes its the material needed

Right,
Angle adjustment was filing and stick with a saddle of choice in the first place :)

That said if anybody is interested of properly turning and bending Aluminium to graft a campa or dura ace posthead with shimming and epoxy fixturing, .... that could mean the world for some special bikes people already might have.

Back from the Archives via secondspin :D,
whatever this was and what became of it, Steve is using his own formula now these days..

As for the before unmentioned CC-Suntourposts, here from a recent FB-group discussion:

Hi, its been a while now!
Good things take time - sometimes
meanwhile some of Charlies duty-notes from the 2014 DIA archive pipeline #CC-FASP.jpg

As per funfact here a letter Charlie answered in the midst of business growth while still at WTB,

Just came across this and have been very fascinated with how much design CC put on his seatposts.

The fixed angle seatposts he did are some of the best looking ones in my view.

Thanks for sharing anyways!

:)some old seatpost related material forwarded by JP,
in the before post there is a writedown of a late Charlie post made for a friend of his 10 years ago by now and then another note (20 year older or lets even say 30 years old now) explaining why he had stopped maked just custom Seatposts for other than his own bikes/builds.
