Hi guys,
A matter is dear to us and anyone looking to find a comfortable ride future-wise will agree.
Charlie was way ahead of everything, yet especially with his seatposts.
Not many builders apart from SP and Moots are offering any layback larger diameter posts which are elegant and functional.
Hence this call to all - if someone finds himself dedicated to fab some of these posts again..
Charles C. obviously made his pretty and light posts as everything else in much variety of details.
Some had setback bend, some not. Other had layback bending plus setback or some just the setback by on-grafted heads from other major companies - preferably Campy, Dura Ace and Suntour for the record timeline !
All that said we hope CC & JP are in best of care with friends and funds these days and they are infact.. with the BikeCommunity as fair familiy.
Yet if we want to ride in their age on some of our older bikes using perhaps even shorter stems going this far back in time to a brilliantly conceived idea of 80s Mtb`s pioneering and development - then such apparent need could resurface.
