Cruiser.....or......Bruiser.....?

Theme tune sorted…. 😁

I'm imagining the theme tune kicking in, Swarfbeard presents in large foreboding letters, fading out with a nasty windows movie maker type transition and a way too close for comfort Mickey staring into the camera with a creepy smile

And then you could make the equivalents of Big Clives alcoholic co2 adventures, make it a similar concept but with various different acids being used on various grades of aluminium, followed by slow motion polishing action with Barry White playing

Get as many variations of led strips as humanly possible for the metalwrangling room

Shades of red if you want to cater to onlyfans subs

So would that be like an "irn bru cruzer'?
Oh yes laid back post is what makes it fit and work.....reminds me...thank you! ....it's sitting in acid stripping the chrome off...best go see what's happening there 🤨

Love my old lathe...it's getting better and better with fettling....interesting I've found out it shares parts with the first myfords! It's possible the myford started from the main casting of mine!
Got to love old belt driven 3 1/2" lathes. The perfect size for bit bits and they just keep going and like a bit of fettling to keep them happy.

I love the silence of it...so peaceful!
It's a funny one it's just seems to have a little more capacity than others in its size.its actually about 4 1/4" over bed and it's a gap bed too for faceplate work upto 5 1/2 " ! Cross slide movement is huge 🤨 Centres are great too at 17" ...I will be at some point getting something more modern but will defo keep this as for its size it's just so versatile.

Sounds like a great machine. Can I have an overall lathe photo pretty please! 🤞 👍
