Crud Catcher experts needed - logo versions

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere - couldn’t find anything via search.

This morning I acquired an immaculate Crud Catcher in red, only the second I’ve ever seen - the first was ten years ago, also pictured below.

Question is; the logos are different; I now realise I’ve never seen the logo on the new one - is it a knock-off or an earlier version?

Top one is original. I think the lower is a copy.

Interesting, if it’s a copy it’s a very good quality one. The molding seems near identical and the quality of the plastic and printing is at least as good as a genuine one.

my memory is vague but if i remember correct the first version only came in black i think the font was the same as the dark red in your photo
there is probably 3 variations of them

I think the orange one is newer. It has the additional holes for the bungee fastener, so you can adjust the tension. The red one just has holes for the downtube clips. Do they have a moulding date stamped on the underside?
