Crimping Cable Ends

I have an old pair of wire cutters into which I've ground a pair of small notches opposite each other.

Works every time!

I usually use a thin layer of silicone bath sealant... seals and stops fraying but is soft enough to pull off if you need to do a trailside fix.

cables

+1 for solder
but i am going to try te bath sealant method now! sounds promising and i have loads of the stuff lying around!
nice

I am going to glue mine on the Marin as I don’t like seeing them 'squashed'

WD :D

All you EVER do is cut corners

Was looking forward to seeing them brazed on, over the kitchen sink, and the cable ends having been turned down from left-over concorde nose cones. Dont let standards slip now fella :D

They are colour coded (black ) if that gets me some points back ;-)

Having said that, I have since spotted the push on / re-useable jagwire type ... ;-)
