I like the fork, it's black like carbon but of course, is not as big so I am sure it is not. In fact, did you get it repainted?? It looks sharp.
I am NOT into fixed bikes but I think the Fixed Gear Gallery is a good place to bike watch, http://www.fixedgeargallery.com/ and in fact, put in a search to find out if anyone else has worked with your brand:

It looks like a fair number and a few names from I'd believe your area of the world, another reason I like to go to that website because it attracts people from around the world.

Short version: in the very beginning, it was actually an American bicycle brand manufactured by the Western Wheel Works in Chicago. Large numbers were imported to Sweden by the company Aktiebolaget Amerikansk Cycle Import Eli Pettersson & August Lindblad, beginning in 1897. In 1908 manufacturing moved to Sweden. The brand has switched owners and manufacturers a couple of times during the last century and is now owned by Cycleurope
The brand is still very much alive and is one of the major brands in the nordic countries.
I commute on a 1996 Crescent myself.
