crank question.

yeh, i'm well versed in bikepro as i've got the paper catalogue plus i'm the 1 who asked for the bikepro sticky in the FAQ section

just wondering what the slight differences were. the arms look the same, so I guess must be purely the spider?

from what i read so far the only difference is the bolt that fixes the spider to the crank. in the following post

the poster states that the grafton cranks used a normal allen key screw and the topline/pbc cranks a ti bolt with rounded head.

From what pictures i can find of the grafton cranks, i'd say it is with about 90% certainty a topline, the crank arms look exactly like tose of topline (spider looks more like a grafton or cooks bros, dont know if these are compatible)

i conclude that the first grafton cranks produced by topline were called "speed sticks". they were produced in 1991. in 1992 grafton seems to have released a new crank design, the "joystix".
topline released their cranks in 1992.
