wondering if its worth drilling out the rounded off bolts on this to fit some new chainrings ? will it all go backtogether?

these came off a 2001 hardrock

You could drill out the bolts, but finding chainrings for that PCD is likely to be a fool's errand.

im gonna deal with what i got until i can afford to do a full on replace... its only mocked up really...

I thnk it's going to need cassette and chain replacing as well.

Anyway, on the lookout for an upgrade. Might have to wait till next month now though. Funds areee low after spending so much on my two modern bikes.

Ill have to keep riding it like so for my commute,


Btw it's got a single speed kit by gusset on there at the moment, have been just leaving it on the big ring until I have money for gearing parts.

So in conclusion, yes it does need a cassette. Chain is looking well old too... U might be right?!?!?!
