Re:

Wondered if this would pop up on any of the forums I use.

Didn’t see the game but was tracking it on bbc site and heard a roar from the neighbours when they got the winner.

So emotional as my dad who passed last November was a massive fan and season ticket holder with my eldest boy. He’d have been ecstatic having supported them since the late 60s and was looking forward to the new stadium hoping to get there in his final months, which never quite happened.

Funny how in the draws after the group everyone wanted Tottenham as they viewed them the easier route. Going into the final as underdogs will be good as we know we are evenly matched with Liverpool and in a final anything can happen.

Delightful reading this
Thank you
And if spurs win, imagine how your dad would’ve felt - I hope your eldest son has reason to celebrate - as I hope I will!

Bittersweet I think is the feeling.

My boy will be at the game at the weekend with Mum and my brother hopefully if results go our way we can secure 3rd (and take us out of the scenario of being CL finalists but having the Goons take our place in next years competition by winning the EL, as I think that is the scenario).

If the Goons win they won’t take our place - there’ll be 5 English teams!

Massively proud to be a spurs fan right now. Been a fan all my life, loving it right now, we've achieved so much recently with so little spent on the squad. A massive achievement. Might try and watch the game from the new stadium if I can get tickets of course.

Nice to hear that
I felt so happy so much - after the first half I was cursing Wanyama and Trippier for being crap and the manager for not pressuring the Ajax defenders by putting o. Llorente
But during the second half - Moura’s brilliant goals
I then but most of nails off - turned it off the TV and onto the phone as I couldn’t sit still - and when the winning goal went in I was in tears with happiness!
Proud! Whatever happens against Liverpool - I’m proud and happy - though I do believe we will win it - more
Pressure on the Liverpool players and they would’ve preferred to play Ajax - spurs at a neutral ground is t what they wanted - they should’ve lost the last game against us - and Liverpool Spurs is usually closely fought now.

We've renewed season tickets for next year so hopefully a victory parade will happen at the first game and as my brother got the last game yesterday the honour will fall to me to go.
