For Sale Cove Hummer - Ti frame - £175

I could say "steel is real" but I won't.
But I could if I wanted to.

I counter with
"Rust is real"

Any Yo Eddy owners here?😉

And steel also fatigues, but it's a much better understood frame material as we've been using it for 140 years:

And we've made a billion of them!

I've sold 1000s of steel bikes, and own quite a few. They also fail.

Whereas sales for ti would be dozens, with one (known) failure, a Cotic Soda, at around 15 years.

All materials can fail.

The only ones which tend to be talked about are rare or expensive which tend to be better materials as the cheap stuff is simply thrown away.

And of course Titanium alloy was touted as being a "bike for life" inthe mid/late 90s when quality steel frames were still available.
My own ti frames are 20,25 and 30 y.o. and well used: 20241004_132533.jpg
