After some serious thought I decided that my first build of the year would be modern - completely modern

After the rave write up the Soul's have gotten over the years I fancied trying one.

The build was simple - as much British stuff as possible (designed and or made).

The outcome.....a work in progress but so far I am very happy.

Could do with a Hope stem, I need to rebuild my original V12 pedals and need a lighter, less sticky front tyre

Looks great

Liking the chain guide and 9 speed....definately the way to go :D

The Orange is looking nice in the in the sunlight, slightly different build to mine but very nice none the less!

Cheers Trevor.

Might end up looking more like yours if I can get a decent bolt through fork at a reasonable price :D

The only thing I'd change is the rear mech as you really don't need such a long cage on a 1x9. But that's me being really picky.

Nice build though. I quite fancy one of these myself. I was very tempted by one of the 2009 ones in 'Expresso'.
