Cotic BFe seatpost size/seatclamp size

Hello, does anyone know what size seatposts or seatpost clamps the first gen BFes used? I'm asking as I have found a clamp which I'd like to buy and use on my Cotic Simple but I want to check it will be compatible. I'm thinking not as the Simple uses a 27.2 seatpost and an approx 30.0 clamp.

Pretty sure its a 31.6 post with a 34.9 clamp. I've had several cotics and they're all been that size.

the very , very original one had a 30.9mm post though - but not many of those made.

Hi, that's very helpful thanks. The seller said he thought the clamp was 30.9 but that just didn't sound right. You have saved me from a bad purchase for which I am grateful!

If it’s the 27.2 seatpost it’ll take a 30 clamp , same as Soul , Salsa one works best I’ve found , later ones take a 31.6 post (dropper compatible)
