Cost to ship a bicycle from the USA to the UK?

Does anyone know? I've spent ages searching the internet for a rough estimate but there is almost no information at all about international shipping.

Is there an economical way to ship cheap bikes (worth around £500/$800) internationally?

cant help you too much on an est but its a LOT because of the oversized package + the weight of the package + reinforcement.

Your best way is to get a cheap return air ticket and bring it as baggage.

Fed ex or UPS are the only way to ship complete bike. Youre looking anywhere from $150-$250...

have a relative in Canada who comes over to England occasionally on business

get one of these and you're all set

Gah! I'm told I do have relatives somewhere in Canada but I've never met them and I don't think they've been to the UK for many years.
*Sigh* All the best bicyles are thousands of miles away in North America.
