Old Saab's look good in-spite of their tri-spokes, not because of them.

I went cool even though I would never get some or indeed want them- but on the right frame they do look cool, the tomac wheel on the other hand is prob a better wheel but looks messy IMHO- it is rapidly becoming apparent from this cool wall and my votes, that I am not very cool at all

They do look kind of cool on the right bike, I think i saw some on a GT Lightning once and they looked great, but their numerous functional flaws carry them far into uncool territory - expensive parts should work well - simple as that.

As for SAAB tri-spokes, we have a model in Canada (where SAAB is owned by General Motors) called the Turbo-X, there's one just down the street from me, and it has some pretty nice looking tri-spokes:
