I am recovering from a serious operation and Cycling may help. I corently have a Kettler Strato Alu-Rad but its too big for me. Im 5.10 (long body short legs.) Any advice on what bike would suit me. Needs to look cool as it will spend most days on display connected to the Tacx, would like to get to a few shows/meets during year.
Any advice, Happy to swap...

Mark

Hi Mark, hope you will get full recovery.

Can you please define "cool"? Any other specs that might be of importance to you?

Thanks, Nikica.

Re:

Hi I have a nice Benotto in a small to med for sale 1989 with all Campagnolo kit as ridden by Moser. Finished in red just re enamelled. Whats the budget like, as it cost me 1100 to build but I am discounting it now down to 425 posted. The Campag components me double this, so bit of a gift. Pm me if you want?

Re:

If you'd like something a few steps up from the Kettler and don't wish to spend big money, I have a nice and very 70s looking Mercier that's available. Pm if interested.

Without knowing your detailed requirements or budget, I can offer the following complete bikes, all "cool" in their own manner:

- Bianchi Vento 602 (Columbus Gara), 56 cm, Shimano Exage 2x6 speed, very low mileage, as new bar a few scratches - £200
- Cilo Stratos (Columbus Cromor), 53 cm, Shimano 105 STI 2x8 speed, Mavic wheels - very good condition - £300
- Pinarello Galileo (Aluminium 7005 with Carbon front fork), 56 cm, Tiagra 3x9, very good condition - £280
- Lapierre Titanium (3AL2.5V), 54 cm, Campagnolo Athena 3x8, Mavic aero wheels - great condition - £750

The dimension represents top tube length (center-to-center).

Or I can build one of the following framesets (or any of the above listed ones):

- Fuji Team Fuji (Tange, Low Profile geometry), 56 cm
- KTM Strada SL (Columbus SL), 56 cm
- Jan Janssen Vitus 979 (Duraluminium), 56 cm
- Giant Cadex CFR2 (Carbon Fiber), 57 cm

...using Shimano 105 2x7, Shimano 105 2x8 STI, Shimano 600 Arabesque 2x6, Shimano 600 Tricolore 2x7, Dura Ace 7200 2x6 or Campagnolo Super Record 2x7 groupset, with wheels to suit.

Hope this helps.
