Cook Bros Racing E Cranks - SOLD

Hi. I was just wondering if you have any more info on these cranks. I don't know much about the later style cook bros racing cranks. Did I imagine it or did I read that the company that the made these is not quite the same as the one who first made the round cnc style cranks (cbr) ?

Are these cranks any good ? Do they compare well with middleburns for example in terms of stiffness and weight ?

I am interested in getting some cranks from this period but I don't think I can afford this right now (new car needed - ouch).

So free bumpage, and if you have any more info that'd be much appreciated. If you haven't sold these in a few weeks, please let me know via pm. Thanks

As far as I'm aware it's the same company that made the CBR cranks. The most information I can find is here:
http://www.mombat.org/Cook_Bros.htm
Don't know how they compare to middleburns in terms of stiffness, quoted weight for the E's is 415g compared to 430g for middleburns RS7 (taken from website) so not much in it.

Thanks for info. I decided to compromise on the retro as a set of middleburns came up at the right price. Thanks anyway and good luck with the sale.
Free bump.
