cook bros crank

Hello im looking to convert this Cook Bros E170 crank from road to Mtb.
Does anyone have a compct spider or know where to grab one? and do i need to make any other changes to make this work ? Im happy to purchase or trade for the black one shown in the attached photo

You will need the special granny ring spacers to hold the spider onto the crank arm if you haven´t got them.
Check for cracks around the granny bolt studs too.

You´ve probably worked this out by now though!
 
I think I have an new/unused spider somewhere.
Not sure about the bolt pattern, though.

Sorry -- No go.

Looks like it's the old 5-bolt "standard" MTB spacing (110 mm) rather than compact. As far as I can tell, it matches the following (from Sheldon Brown):

"Touring double, standard triple outer"
BCD: 110 mm;
Smallest ring: 33 T;
Between adjacent holes: 64.7 mm;
Between non-adjacent holes: 104.6 mm.

You could just use it with 110 bcd rings. Granny ring bolts double as the spider bolts assuming you have the special spacers.
