Cook Bros crank re etching

I've done this on a set of E cranks in the past. Bought a set of negative "cook bros. racing" decals from Gil i.e. with the lettering is cut out. Then taped all around the edge of the decal and used a solution of caustic and an cotton bud to remove ano from the lettering.

Thats clever..I will try this myself seems like less effort than the etcher.
