Controltech Purple Skewers

Re:

I have these, currently helping to keep the weight of my Airborne Zeppelin down to just over 18 lbs. Would you pay £55 for them posted? I'd include the nearly matching purple valve caps. Bit of scratching to one end of rear one, otherwise excellent. The matching Foxglove flowers were purely by chance.
Bit reluctant to let them go but have the Pro-Lite skewers in a box doing nothing if I decide I can bear the extra 60+ grams!

Racer X if you want NOS these exist in the ‘States.

I have some very ratty purple ones and some perfect silver ones. I am now past the point of needing to build hyperlight things for my son, since he now needs industrial strength bikes.

Sorry for delay in posting - had some errands to run.

Here are the photos - allen hex ends pretty good on the purples, but that alloy caps on the threaded end rather embarrassing....

Silver ones 9/10

Both of these were bought by me when they first were released - I got some of the first batch in the country. They both are mechanically 10/10 and always looked after very carefully, never over-tightened. Threads perfect on both axle and end caps.

Note these always need to be installed with plenty of copper-based anti-seize, other wise you get Ti galling on the alloy and firstly you can’t get them tight, and secondly it stresses both axle and ends.
