+1..there are a lot of very very light alloy friction levers out there that a good drill/dremel can make even lighter. Save that heavy internal indexing mechanism inside
I've been thinking of mounting some on my Raleigh titanium as a bare bones project with a 39T single ring plus 11-27
Problem being that the 62cm frame is 1650g which given its size is pretty good for a 1996 bike but is never going to be a true weight weenie..

I´ll be riding this, so i would like some comfort.

I´ve been adding up prices, and it will not be cheap...

Retail around £11500... I´m glad I´m not paying retail.
