"concorde" frame identification, help.

Hello!

Just bought this beautiful looking vintage frame for cheap - 120 euros.
Paint is bad, a lot of places you can see steel. Planning to add a new group set, some wheels and it will be good to go.

Hopefully its Concorde, at least it looks like one.
Have never seen a paintjob like this before in any place of internet.. I believe its redesigned, also Concorde letters seems oddly weird, but right.

Could you please help me with identify this frame?

The rear brake cable guides make me think it might be a Lombardia ...

It could also be a Columbo which is made from Columbus Aelle. The seat stay top eyes and under top tube brake cable routing point to this .

(What i think) Paint similarity is with colombo, because of polished, chrome part right side on dropouts between chain. Lombardia came fully painted, no chrome.

What parts this bike have:
Crankset: Shimano rx100
Hubs: Shimano Exage
Stem: 3ttt
Brakes: Shimano 500EX BR-A500 SLR
Wheels: haven't found yet, stickers are gone.
Seatpost: have seen the same for lot of Concorde bikes, or other late 80's bikes.

Have tried to google serial number, nothing.
Maybe there is website for checking out bikes with Serial number?

Cable guide for brakes is on the bottom part of top tube (have seen in pictures for "colombo" and "lombardia" frames) also some "colombo" frames you can find with cable guides on top of top tube.

If we denie the fact that its changed to single speed and with different handlebar, everything on the bike is as it should be.
Only thing what is missing is bottom bracket cable guide, and these things missing is common for older bikes (maybe im wrong about BB cable guide)

So its kind of a riddle to figure out what frame it is..
Maybe stupid question, but does Columbus Aelle steel if different from any other steel, I mean in color not strength or weight?

I’ve one in Cromor and a Weigh in Aelle, they’re pretty much the same weight frame for frame iirc (my Concorde Cromor frame only is just over 2kg) but it’s all a bit irrelevant for me as I’m a right lardy-arse so having anything lighter would be a right waste lol

Well, it’s very nice even if it’s not a Concorde (I have no reason to doubt it) and a bit of a bargain! Are you going to restore or enjoy it as it is?

So your not saying it is Concorde, neither denying it.

Don't know if its a right move to make it Concorde if I don't know the frame origins, but im building it for myself as a Concorde Of course it would be nice to track what frame it is, maybe under paint there will be something hidden

I want to repaint it as close to original Concorde colorways (check the link) as I can, It's gonna be a headache.. Than add some nice wheelset, ergo bullhorn handlebars, new (Campagnolo) group set and drive the hell out of that bike.
So yeah, restore it with some new components.

Just measured seatpost tubing - 26,8mm so could be Aelle?
