Concorde Flies Again...

Re: Concorde Flies Again... soon

Woke up a bit early this morning, so just got started. Will do the hard bits when I get back.

I can confirm that setting up Delta brakes is a faff.

Taking a break to watch some football.

And we're done!

The 10 speed indexed shifting from the down tube levers works well and feels great on the stand. Might be a few days until it's gets a test drive.

Re:

Wow, that looks great.

Also, I like your choice of tyres, I have them on a lot of my bikes.

Cheers Neil.

Pro 4 's are great all round road tyres and because of the deals available on them they're also brilliant value for money.

Re: Concorde Flies Again... soon

Cracking Job Ken nice job on the polishing it's brought the paint out lovely

Re: Concorde Flies Again... soon

Cheers Clive.

There's still more polishing to do. Its nearly there though!

I also forgot about the seatstay decals and the Columbus SL sticker. The Go-faster stripes suggested by NeilM arrived in the post today, so I now have everything I need.

I'm thinking I'll ride this down on the April run as it looks like it should take a 25mm tyre and I can probably bung a triple on it with about 10 minutes work. I don't think my knees would be too happy riding loaded up Lake District climbs on a 42 chainring.

Theoretically, all it needs is a 1mm spacer under the drive side BB cup and assuming the front mech can cope capacity-wise, a quick tweak of the limit screws. I'll give it a full test ride with both setups at the weekend.

Re: Concorde Flies Again... soon

Congrats, it looks boss, jackosbournesnr.
Is the front shifting indexed or friction?
