What a fantastic day today was... Strangely I saw relatively few others on the road.
Unfortunately, when I got back, I discovered that my torque wrench is kaput and managed to trash a 1st Gen Chorus front mech. :facepalm:
Might try tapping the screw hole from M5 to M6 and fitting another bolt.
Swapped it for a 10 speed one and (very carefully) set that up to work with the triple chainset.
