Probably not the best person to ask as I run a Polar S720i.

I would recommend getting something wireless, less to tangle on branches etc and they look neater. There's really no need to spend more than £50 tops.

I have a brand new super light Cateye Strada Wireless - all boxed and completely unused, it is only a couple of weeks old (I have the receipt around here somewhere).

Actually, I was just reading a review in the August 1995 MBUK and the Specialized Speedzone is the one to go for, or the Vetta C500 if you want no wires.

Got a defunct Avocet 30 and a Spesh Speed Zone from '93 somewhere.

Tony - go wireless, so much less messy and oh so much more aesthetically pleasing.

good things, can motivate but can also demoralise.

As Russell says, just don't get obsessed with them.
