Columbus Genius fillet brazed Italian frame with Ritchey dropouts

If one of the two 20" designs had have stayed available longer I would have nought one, especially with getting extra money from work or if I sold other bike parts. I had already planned the paint!
A Ritchey Logic fork wuld definitely be a good choice. I'd choose a nice fork and get it painted to match the frame, rather than wishing you could change fork later.
Yes I agree - it’s fully deserving of a nice fork. Of course depending on the frame colour.
I’m really excited about this one - as first thought is which colour will he choose and what paint type ?

Guy says it's "late 90's," wonder if it was specced for a suspension fork. When it gets here I'll measure it up and draw some triangles. I'm assuming the design HTA must be ~71 degrees
If so, Soma has a beautiful fork that might work. Kinda has that Ritchey look which I agree should compliment this frame
I'm not going to try to do a period correct build, initial concept was to do the omafiet thing and that's probably where it will go with it
Although. I just ordered up some custom chromoly handlebars for my other bike from Oddity, and I'm planning to powder coat them in his "multiverse" scheme (examples on his Facebook feed) which among other things allows the brazing to show through which I think is cool. Mone is way into that look and I spent way too much time on his website today. I think I could do a pretty cool steampunk thing (and a switchblade-like fork would go along with that). I think if this frame had bronze filets I would definitely do the see-thru thing; as is, probably not. But don't dare me, I might
More likely, I'll do something sane with it. For that dang Rockhopper I was first thinking black, then british racing green. But this bike needs to look italian I think. Presently leaning toward white base with green and red highlights. Looking at decals. Thinking.

That’s going to look sweet! The bronze fillets will really stand out - I’m going to check the Oddity out !
Something Italian would be a great idea too - but how about your original steampunk idea with an Italian feel?

I doubt it’s late 90ies. Not with canti hangers and the fact that the only other ones I’ve seen have been spec’s with early

Genius came out in 1991
- my Columbus Genius (Tig welded) Bianchi Nth is approx 1995-96 . So I guess this would likely be around the same age
