Rebuilding a later (for me) Colnago Super. This model is of the "Piu" design with internal top tube cable routing, but before the same design was listed as "Piu" model unlike the Master which was given the "Piu" designation years earlier.
I was never too concerned about keeping it original (unknown if originally purchased as a frame or complete bike), but tried to keep it somewhat within the general time of its manufacture through the years.
Hope my photos help others ID their early 90s frames. I cannot definitively date the frame since no catalog example has been available for comparison. Given the 130mm rear fork spacing it would be highly unlikely to be from 1989 or earlier. The stay cap panto is from 1989 and later. Also, the fade paint job was used by Colnago from the very late 80s until circa 1992.
Cranks: Galli 80s, anodized black
