Colnago Sold

Re: Colnago Nuovo Mexico /Dura-Ace 7400/

Depending on the tubing, which I cannot see as the sticker is damaged, it is a Super or an early conic SLX from about 1988.

Re: Colnago Nuovo Mexico /Dura-Ace 7400/

Probably a Conic SLX - if you remove the seat post and shine a torch down there you should see some "rifling", spiral reinforcing ridges. Later Conic SLX had crimped down tube and straight fork. Great bike and incredibly comfortable on modern British roads, don't know about the roads in Hungary.

Mexico only made with SL tubing, not all crimped (some eighties models were plain)but never with the amazing "fishnet" paint that your machine has.

Regards
