The unnecessarily rude Stringfellow1946 (and the misled Mike Muz 67) should be aware that the frameset purchase was committed by me, subject to sight and touch, two hours before your first "dibs" post on the matter, in a prior communication with the seller.

I am the purchaser, the deal having now been completed in another forum.

The kind of petulant response you have made, in your disappointment, makes you look silly, which is your prerogative, but it does tend falsely to mislead others, who perhaps should know better than to believe everything they read in such circumstances.

This post is to correct that false impression. The seller has done nothing wrong (many sellers in many environments advertise in several places); I think that you were informed of the situation, but it seems have chosen spitefully to vent your spleen on the matter.

Good luck with developing relationships with others sellers and/or buyers, Stringfellow1946. But you won't be on my Christmas card list, and I'll live with the disappointment of not being on yours.

Bye.

The seller never mentioned in his original post that he had the frame advertised else where. So I stand by my original comment.
I see that this is your First post on the forum & the original sellers 2nd & with that in mind to quote you "it does tend falsely to mislead others, who perhaps should know better than to believe everything they read in such circumstances."

Re:

Stringfellow - I wouldn't waste my time replying to these posters. It seems incredible that the "buyer!!!" registered on here last night just to make that post.

Yes your absolutely right letape, & with me approaching 69 years of age you'd think I would have learnt by now. ;)

Re:

I, for one, would have thought it common courtesy to state that the item was advertised elsewhere.
Maybe it's not that common after all.
