Hi guys, been a browser of the forum for a while, but now my Colnago restoration / build is complete I thought I'd post up some pictures.
I believe the Master Olympic was only made for a short while due to issues over the Olympic name, so I think this frame is from 95/96ish?
You might be able to make out that it also has a race number mount under the top tube near the head tube, not sure if that has any significance?
When I got the frame through a friend, it was in pretty bad shape with some nasty corrosion to the rear stays at the seat tube and the bottom bracket area. It has been treated and re-painted by a local company here in Bristol (not Argos) and the quality is fantastic, he also re-did the Flash forks which have come out superbly with the decal in paint under the lacquer rather than a vinyl sticker.
I do have another as yet unidentified old Italian steel framed bike that has guards and is used for commuting and over winter so it's not my first steel bike, but this is so much better than that, it's such a lovely ride!

I appreciate that it's not a fully true to originality restoration but I wanted a mix of new and old and think I have struck a nice balance
Only things I plan to change at the moment are some polished skewers and a nice stainless bottle cage.
