I'll be bringing my spare pannier Zigzag, 28 litres though so mount your rack high and as far back as you can get it.

Grand, cheers gents, sounds like I'll use both the top bag and the pannier - that'll save me lugging my rucksack and I can just use my camelback.

do you just stop to change the front gear or clip it with your heel?

Well the two panniers are actually fronts and I still don't think I'll fill them. Better to have two half filled than one full no?
