Retro Newbie
I'm the second owner of my Clockwork Orange, I have no idea of the exact year of manufacture. The frame is a tad small for me, I'm considering selling the bike or the frame and buying / building something else.

It's 7 speed, it has V brakes (in the same colour as the frame and forks - ORANGE!) mounted behind the front forks. The stem is also original. There are some chips on the frame that have been touched in but can still be seen.

Does anyone have any idea if it would be worth my while trying to sell the frame to fund something else, if it's not worth much I will probably just continue using it - it's not my main bike, I only use it locally for the shops etc.

Any info. would be appreciated.

Thanks, Mark

Good rules, I will try to move the thread as I am just trying to find out about it not actually really trying to sell.

Cheers. Mark

Stick the serial number up and we should be able to tell you what year it is.

I'd guess that it's a 16" but I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Best way to make some cash would be to split it and sell off the components. To give you some idea I bought a 92 Prestige frame and forks off the forum for around the £80 mark.

If it was me I'd keep it. It's a nice bike and I can afford it this close to Christmas, well not unless I want to be a soprano for new year. ;)

clockwork

Hmmn..... looks like a 10 Year Anniversary Clockwork to me. A mint one went for about £300 on ebay about 6 months ago.
