Hi John. Cliff Peters was my Dad's cousin and via him I got into Cycling. In the last couple of years I have had renovated by Argos Cycles of Bristol two frames he supplied to me. The first was 1960s vintage (Nervex lugs) and I was able to supply to Argos my last surviving decals which Argos copied for my second bike (frame built by Barry Witcomb). The bikes were enamelled the same colour by Argos so my wife thinks there is only one! So approach Argos I suggest. Any problems get back to me on robertsonb@aol.com as I am on vacation in France at the moment but back in 2 weeks. I hope this helps. Best Brian Robertson

Sounds like Argos have it covered. If not, all is not lost. As long as you can get an accurate photo and size info of the decals, any graphic designer worth their salt can knock out a vector file in their lunchtime. Files with formats .SVG or .EPS can then be handed over to someone like HLloyd who can make high quality decals from the file.

The reason I say this is there may be others out there with Cliff Peters frames doing a renovation in the same boat as you. BTW, I notice H Lloyd have some Cliff Peters decals here: https://hlloydcycles.com/pages/search-results-page?q=cliff

Mark at Argos will I’m sure sort you out he’s great to deal with 👍
