cleat question

Ive just bought another bike which has xtr spd pedals. Will my cleats that i use on my eggbeater type pedals off my 2008 stumpy fit them? or do i need new cleats/shoes?

You will need Shimano Cleats, Crankbrothers cleats are not compatable.

many thanks for a quick answer mate. Guess ill have to buy some spare shoes/cleats or swap the pedals on one of the bikes.

I use CB mallets on my Orange 5 but use CB smart pedals on my retro bike.

It depends on how much lateral float you like (if you have dodgy knees etc) it might be better using the CB but for quality and performance you cannot get better than XTR.
