Clean Serotta T-MAX reasonable BIN

Price seems high to me.
Repaint is ugly.
And for being the original owner I would think he could remember when he got the bike. (Hint: it was not 1997)

Would agree the repaint wouldn't be to my taste.

Price seems pretty reasonable to me. Can you might share some examples of more competitively priced Serotta T-MAXs, I'll be honest that I don't follow the price of these specific frames closely.

Perhaps you might enlighten us all as to what year it is?

I think frames cost a lot more on UK eBay than they do in the US, partly because top-end makes are so much more rare over here and partly because original shop prices have always been much higher here. So like John, it does seem a fairly reasonable price to me, but maybe it wouldn't if I were in the US.

As far as I am aware, they only made the T-Max until 1993, so I don't think it can be dated 1996/7 as the seller thinks. He could have bought it then of course, if it had been in the shop for a while. He waxes on about Serotta being so choosy about supplying decals, but oddly they have supplied a Ti Max decal even though he hasn't got a Ti Max. I think it's crass to put a bogus decal on a bike, so I would have to take that off.
