Claude Butler Vantage Resto Mod

I'm pretty sure that there is a nicely upgraded Vantage on here already, from a couple of years ago. They can certainly look good when sorted out. See if you can find it. I love to see an underdog given a once over.

I get what @bold stelvis is saying about steel frames; however, I think I would spend some time with what you've got. You'll learn some skills and you'll learn what you do and don't want from a retro bike. Then you'll be in a better position to make an informed choice on the next project and most of the parts you've bought will swap over.

Thanks for the advice all! Almost bought a Raleigh m trax but the sellers son wanted to keep the bike. I've managed to pick this Specialized Hardrock up (think it's a 1989 model) for £55. Hoping to do a Resto Mod 1x8 conversion. This is my first attempt at something like this so there will be a few posts asking questions which I'm sure you've heard millions of times before!
