Claud Butler Jarama ?

Hiya,

Picked up an CB Jarama on ebay for 50 quid

Pic doesn't do it justice, but paint is stunning. Am just after a year for the bike, I'd take a stab at mid-90's, but Google comes up with nothing on the bike.

It's got a 7 speed cassette, Altus rear derailleur, Acera front. Gripshift (yuck). Doesn't weigh a ton, cro-mo frame. Anyone know anything about these ? Doesn't need much doing, apart from proper shifters, cables, cones/bearings.

Nice bike mate recently bought a Claud Butler Oracle

You probably won't find anything on them to be honest. CB sold the same bike spec, but different paint and name in the same year. So say the Athlon was the LBS version, the Jarama would be the littlewoods catalogue version. (Those names are just for examples)
