Claud Butler Gran Sport (1971)

Ciccioformaccio

Dirt Disciple
Here some pictures of my Claud Butler Gran Sport.
As the 1971 catalog say, It is "Designed for all type of general road use".

The bike appears to be in almost original state, apart from the fact that it has no Campagnolo "Gran Sport" rear derailleur but a lower level Campagnolo "Velox".

Re:

I got it on the bay ...

Many other jewels are easily available on internet ...

It rides very well! Very stiff rigid frame ... perfect for city or flat touring! The Regina Extra casette is fantastic.
Of course it is not a light bike ...
it is my first bike with 27 x 1 1/4 wheels and I have to say that for flat roads they are very performant!
