As the title, 1960s Claud Butler frame and forks, may be European model. Nevertheless, a lovely example of period sport/touring frame that would be perfect for full restoration or as the basis for a really usable resto-mod.
Labels say 531 double-butted, but I have no idea whether that’s true. Possibly only 531 plain gauge.
Seat tube 54cm
Top tube 54cm
Headtube 120mm
Rear spacing 120mm
Price ... I paid £150, so anywhere close will get it … make an offer.
I bought this in a moment of optimism, then discovered that I can't get it shipped to NZ for less than £200 (plus nz$250 import fees). So back on sale it goes alas.
Frame available for viewing or collection from Wakefield. Shipping possible at additional cost.
Payment by PayPal, direct transfer or cash (assuming collection).
DM for more info.
Edited to add a few extra pics and to say that the paint looks original, not re-done, and is better than I had thought (bear in mind that I've never actually seen this in the metal ... I'm in NZ and the frame is in the UK).
