Dirt Disciple
Here for sale is my Claud Butler Diatto. Quite a rare bike by all accounts and very little info about them online.
Handbuilt, aluminium framed bike originally specced with Tioga Psyco KS tyres in grey, Campagnolo rims laced to Acera X hubs, a Tioga seat and Tioga Surefoot pedals (hence the original decals on the frame). All other components you still see on the bike are original which include Acera X cantilever brakes, chainset and rear derailleur. Shimano EZ fire brifters (3x7) and Shimano STX front derailleur. Wheels are bolt on Weinmann TM19 wrapped in 26x1.89 Kenda Dread Tread tyres with ok tread and the saddle is a comfortable new item. All cables have been replaced except the front derailleur cable as it’s in good condition.
The frame measures 18” from the centre of BB to top of seat tube or 15” centre of BB to the middle of top tube.
Nice, cheap, useable retro bike ready to ride away after just having undergone a mini restoration.
Collection from Bagillt, North Wales or post considered if you want it- this would be at cost.
