Claud Butler by Holsworthy frame and components

Retro Newbie
I’m new to this group and not a bicycle expert. I’m looking for advice please.
I have a Claude Butler, assembled by Holdsworthy, frame and complements I wish to sell. It’s a circa 1980 frame. Not shop purchased, but self assembled back in the day. Where is the best place to sell it please? IMG_2206.webp IMG_2203.webp IMG_2211.webp IMG_2216.webp IMG_2219.webp IMG_2217.webp IMG_2205.webp

welcome to the forum! 😃

there is a tremendous amount of Claud Butler and Holdsworth information archived at this enthusiast created web site -

https://nkilgariff.com

from the serial shown on the frame a date of 1980 is indicated -
exactly as you write 😉

it sounds like you might like to receive an appraisal and advice on selling

the best thread to ask for this type of information is here -

The best places I've found to sell are Facebook Marketplace, here and eBay. Looks like a nice frame. Most value looks to be in the frame, forks and cranks. The wheels, seat and mudguards don't look like much to me.

Really appreciate you taking the time to respond and for the info. Juvela.
Thank you very much.

Thank you for taking the trouble to respond Sam. Appreciate your thoughts and recommendations.😀👍

I think you'd probably get the frame away on Marketplace quite quickly at 80-100 quid. As said above the parts are pretty low end, perhaps donate them to a bicycle recycling? They're always happy to get bits and pieces.
