I have for sale a 53cm Wessex 12 speed touring bike with a Reynolds 531 frame, forks and stays and 700c wheels (can't find a makers mark). The frame feels quite small for a 53cm and is probably suited to a person 5'7" or shorter. The top tube is 54cm.
Everything works smoothly but the hoods and tyres could do with replacing (the tyres do hold air but are quite old). The bike is nicely patinated with some of the paint touched up and obvious signs of wear and tear as to be expected on a bike that hasn't been restored.
It has full guards and some very unusual (to me) Weinmann cantilever brakes which work exceptionally well.
It has suntour gears with levers on the down tube.
The bike is for sale for £200. Available for viewing Bishop's Stortford or Central London by arrangement.
