Classic LOOK 96 KG - Road BIke

Re:

I am going to remove the thread and repair it and then re-post as this not the response I was expecting!
It is repairable and does not render the frame or bike worthless.

In that case, fill your boots !

Please re-post it somewhere else though. And what are those £500 wheels?

Re:

I think that people posting to this thread should confine themselves to an indication of interest in buying, not denigrating a newbie poster's judgement of what this frame could be worth to someone, in the damaged state it's in. If you don't think it offers value, wallow in your superior knowledge and keep it smugly to yourself. I agree that early pictures would have been good, as would better detail all round, but asking for that would be a much more reasonable and polite approach than expressions of incredulity.

Thats not a KG96 it might be a KG 56 or a KG66 but either way its totally useless.

Its definitely a 96. But thank you for your dismissive, incorrect and frankly useless input.

Re:

I appreciate the positive messages and I have managed to get a picture up of the bike.

Like I previously said I have had the bike for years and the last event I did was a charity ride at the Nurburgring where the bike got a lot of attention, it's a really cool old bike that is still great to ride.

Re:

You are welcome to your opinion but there is no justification in saying it is unsafe to ride.
Let people make up their own mind wether they think the bike is genuine or not, I have nothing to hide and I am a genuine seller.
As I said I recently completed a large event an survived so it can't be that unsafe, if you have ever been round the Nurburgring you would soon see that any bike that is not upto it would fail very quickly!!!
