sweet ride. may i suggest custom painted "titanium" judy legs? they look great on my bowti..

I like those :cool:

34henry3w - who did the paint job? I did make an enquiry with FatCreations and they said they wouldn't do Mag legs because the paint wouldn't be robust due to the magnesium content. I did think about it, but in the end went for the right age forks rather than worry about colour too much.. ;)

EDIT : and yes, the saddle is a little ... abused. it was out of my spares bin and was probably one from back in the day so has been abused by my bum. haha.

Re:

hi it was done by Dez paint shop in Ottawa Ontario..he is an old school custom car guy. it even has the same depth, bluish Hugh and reflections as titanium.. he really nailed it. you can google and call him 9 to 3 eastern time I am sure he would be happy to explain how he did it.

as far as robustness it seems ok although i haven't exactly put it away wet!

That looks really nice, I was looking for one of these a while ago but they never come up for sale, I missed out on the full suspension model last year on eBay when I contacted the seller he had sold it locally in Boulder

Just done a eBay search and found this;

Never seen a Clark Kent like this limited edition number 1 of 50 made.

cheers for the paint link. I have a Mountain Goat frame/fork needing a repaint more importantly than the fork but maybe one day. I tend to hoard my bikes. With this one I wasn't look for a brand new look, I wanted it to look like it did. Patina seems the chosen phrase, hahahaha.

That linked Clark Kent was one I saw a while back on ebay, It looks like the top tube is simply collapsed although obviously its suppose to look like that and probably rides more neutral than you might imagine. If it was more local I might have been interested. CK certainly were very keen forward thinking designers coming up with some 'crazy' designs, shame they couldn't manage their tax properly!

I've finally got her back home from the bike shop as pictured. I'll try and get some pics posted up this weekend as I am keen to know what to improve in the build next. I'll likely stick with the forks the way they are. I'm not colour match OCD so can live with the forks not being green... I think.
