Circlip for preload adjuster Marzocchi fork

The sunny weather really brings out the special in me :facepalm:

While taking the top caps of a 2003 Marathon S I managed to ping one of the little circlips that sits between the preload adjuster and the cap. After a lot of time wasted and sunburn incurred I have to accept it's gone.

Can anyone advise where I get a replacement as it's clearly not a hardware shop job and LBS just shrugged?

So sorry Liam, I've been AFB (away from bike), didn't mean to be rude and not reply :?

Unfortunately on top of everything else I can't find the micrometer :facepalm: but measuring across the centre seems to be 8mm, if I'm measuring it right?

I have a box of assorted circlips they have holes in the ends to use circlip pliers on them I think they should work though let me know if you need a pic

you may be better searching ebay for e clips an r clips

Cheers Liam but I'll save you the trouble - local hardware store had some clips which will do for now, and I've managed to find the exact originals online (when they get them back in stock).
