Before everyone gets too excited, yes it is the same saddle, but it isn't really a case of profiteering. Let me clarify before anyone gets annoyed.

The buyer noticed that the saddle had been touched up at some point (as shown in the ebay listing) and that it wasn't the right thing for the build after all. I offered to take it back of course, but the seller has decided to try his luck on ebay with it (after consulting with me). It appears there is a market for these in the US, so I say good luck to him.

My fault for not checking it over more carefully before putting it up.

i dont know i think he should have put it back on the forum at the same price with a note about the touch up. putting it up on ebay just doesn't feel like its helping, or in the spirit of, the community - especially when there was so much interest in the saddle.. not your fault at all op but just seems a bit off to me.
