does any one know what is the seat post diameter for this
I've tried 25.4 mm and is too loose
26.8 mm to tight
I dont recall ever seeing 26 or 26.4 mm diameter seat post which I think should fit
but if someone has I appreciate it if you can point me to it

I know it may be a dumb question, I have measured with a vernier one diameter is 26.8 and moving goes to 26.3
i dont think the seat tube is oval shape rather is hit but dont want to crack the paint more.
any suggestion is welcomed

Cinelli Tamputocco MTB 1991 26" wheels

pictures of my 1991 Red Cinelli Tamputocco Mountain Bike 26" wheels, columbus tubing, seat tube 56cm, top tube 59cm. 26" wheels, Front&Rear Derailleurs...Shimano Exage 400 XL group with triple crank and long cage rear derailleur, Crank...Shimano Biopace Triple 48/38/28.
Paint is scrubbed but I cannot restore it, it would damage the original design of the decals (actually dont know if these are decals or paint).
Never seen a cinelli MTB before and this is why I decided to buy it, the unknown and represent an intriguing chapter in the Cinelli history.
Apparently, Cinelli and Gary Fisher developed a line of Mountain Bikes in 1991 for 3 models Ottomilla, Argento Vivo and Tamputocco.
difficult to find references about them
upgrades are spinergy 26" rims SPOX

Re:

26.4 isn't unusual. Measure outside tube diameter lower on the tube and tube wall thicknes on top to get a good guesstimate. Also finding out what tubeset id used will be of great help.

Re:

thanks bartsince1975, I have already found one 26.4 mm and fit right in
although as you can see it is scratched, I will paint it just havent had the time yet

Re:

added clear coating to prevent rust and enchance the red color, kinda worked
