well it's working:
I decided to get a hard tail to take my son out on (baby seat thingy) and couldn't bring myself to buy cheap-sh1t or over-spend on decent new stuff.
Quick ebay later and a 1995 cinder cone frame and forks was mine...ALL MINE!!!!!!
Repainted in a darker, more "kingfishery" pearlescent blue. Decals from Gil (who is a GURU) and put a load of my old kit on it.

1996 Judy DHs (owned from new!)
Curve cantis and levers
Flite Ti Saddle
Shimano 636 peddals (still THE best)
XT drivetrain (modern: sorry)
Shimano rims (modern again)
