Chris King Titanium headset

aye i would send to them for a replacement bearing but as you know its blooming expensive! to service them yourself there is a spring clip/ring and a rubber cover to remove. blast the bearings with wd40 or such like and tap them pretty hard on a piece of wood to dislodge any grit and repeat more wd40 until clear and running free with no dirt and once dried off pack with new grease and tap them the other way around to get the grease into the back of the bearing.

Did you guys know the CK injector tool for the CK bottom brackets also fits the CK headsets. They are the same bearings. I have 4 CK ceramic BB's and 4 CK headsets. So the tool was a no brainer, a few pumps through of new grease and they are all like new. :)

Or you could use the Pace grease gun that every retrobiker should own ;)
